1/2 lb. (2 cups dry) uncooked macaroni
1 tsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
3 cups grated sharp cheese (12 oz.)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil macaroni in water until tender (about 6-8 mins) and drain thoroughly. Stir in butter and egg. Mix mustard and salt with 1 T. hot water and add to milk; set aside. Add cheese to macaroni; reserving enough cheese to sprinkle on top. Pour into greased casserole; add milk mixture, sprinkle with reserved cheese. Bake covered in preheated 350º oven for about 45 minutes or until custard is set and top is crusty.
