2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 1/2 pounds jumbo lump crabmeat
1 1/2 cups fresh white bread crumbs (4-5 slices with crusts removed)
2 heaping T. mayo
1 large egg white
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Kosher salt
black pepper
olive oil
1 t. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a 2 count of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook 5-7 minutes until onion becomes slightly caramelized. Put into a bowl and cool slightly. Add remaining ingredients and season with salt and pepper. Shape into 6 fat (tall) crab cakes and put on a plate. Refrigerate, uncovered, for at least one hour. Heat a saute pan over medium heat with a 3 count of olive oil and 1 t. butter. Add crab cakes and cook about 4 minutes on each side until nice and crisp. Serve warm.½ Tablespoon Teaspoon Cup Mayonnaise Water Sugar Salt Milk Flour Eggs
