9 tomatoes
1 large onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T. butter
1 T. olive oil
2 cups chicken broth
2 T. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Remove skins from the tomatoes. To do this, boil water in a saucepan and dip the tomato (one at a time) in the boiling water for about one minute. Remove and peel. Repeat for all 9 tomatoes. Chop 3 tomatoes and place in a saucepan with the onion, garlic, butter and oil. Heat for several minutes then add the flour to coat. Cook for one minute and add the chicken broth. Mix well. Chop 3 more tomatoes and add. Simmer for 30 minutes. Chop the last of the tomatoes and add them cooking 5 additional minutes.
Freeze.

Thaw and add dill or basil, salt, pepper and half and half.
