3/4 c. milk,
1/4 c. butter,
1 pkg. dry yeast,
1/4 c. warm water,
3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. flour, part whole wheat,
1 c. quick old fashioned oats, uncooked,
1/3 c. honey,
1 egg,
1 1/4 tsp. salt,
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Heat together milk and butter stirring until melted. Add sugar. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water. In large bowl combine butter mix, dissolved yeast, 1 c. flour, oats, honey, eggs, salt and cinnamon; mix well. Add enough additional flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured board 8-10 minutes until smooth. Shape into ball. Place in large bowl and let rise one hour until double. Punch down, cover and let rest for ten minutes. Divide in half. Shape one part of one half into 36 inch rope and coil onto cookie sheet at lower half. Divide remaining dough in half and make 25 inch rope with one of these halves. Attach to larger coil for the head. Make tail spiral from one half of remaining dough and attach. Use remaining dough to make ears with 15 inch coil. Pinch all together. Let rise one hour Bake 30-35 minutes at 350º. Frost with confectioners icing.
