2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 lb. asparagus
2 T. vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 T. sherry
2 t. cornstarch
2 t. cold water
1/4 t. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 T. toasted sesame seeds*
1 T. soy sauce

Cut the chicken into thin strips. Set aside. Snap off lower portion of the asparagu, wash and slice diagonally into 2" pieces. Heat skillet or wok and add 1 T. oil and the garlic. Heat for about a minute and then add the asparagus and sirfry for two minutes. Remove asparagus. Add the chicken stock, sherry and soy sauce to the skillet and blend with a whisk. Add the chicken strips and cook, stirring, about 3 minutes or until the chicken turns white. Add the asparagus and stirfry for about 2 minutes. Blend the cornstarch with the cold water and add, stirring, until thickened. Sprinkle with sugar, salt, pepper and sesame seeds.

*To toast sesame seeds, put on baking sheet into 400 degree oven and toss once or twice until brown. Remove from oven and baking sheet immediatley or they will over brown.
