1 medium head of iceberg lettuce
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1 medium red onion
2 large carrots, sliced very thin
1 cup finely diced ham
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package frozen sweet peas
2 T. sugar
mayonnaise
Parmesan cheese
6 strips of crisp bacon, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
In a deep salad bowl, layer the first seven ingredients. Sprinkle the top layer with the sugar. Spread mayonnaise thickly over the top and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Just before serving sprinkle the bacon on the top. Do not toss. Cut into wedges to serve.
