1 cup sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
1 cup roasted, salted peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Butter cookie sheet

Microwave directions:
In 1 ½ quart microwave safe casserole dish, combine sugar and corn syrup.
Microwave on high for 4 minutes.

Stir in peanuts.
Microwave on high 3-5 minutes or until light brown..

Stir in butter and vanilla, blend well.
Microwave on high 1-2 minutes. Peanuts should be lightly browned.

Add baking soda and stir gently until light and foamy.

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet, let cool 30 minutes, break into pieces.
