1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
8 strips bacon
1 - 9” pastry shell
3 eggs
½ teaspoon dry mustard
8-10 whole fresh mushrooms sliced thin
1 cup whipping cream
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon white pepper (I use black)
Dash of thyme and garlic salt

Sauté mushrooms in ½ stick margarine. Set aside.

Fry bacon crisp. Set aside.

Combine eggs, whipping cream, milk, salt, pepper, mustard, thyme and garlic salt. Beat with a wire whisk.

Layer sautéed mushrooms and crumbled bacon in pie shell. Sprinkle cheese over top. Pour liquid over cheese. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
