1 cup red wine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 T. salt
1 t. pepper
1 t. oregano
2 bay leaves
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 sliced carrot
1 sliced onion
3-4 pounds eye of the round roast

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients for a marinade. Let roast stand in the marinade for 12 to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Turn frequently. Bake at 300 degrees for 4 hours in a tightly covered casserole.
