2 sricks butter
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 t. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar very well. Add eggs, one at a time, alternately with the flour. Add the vanilla. Grease and flour a tube or angel food pan and pour in the batter. Place in a cold oven and turn heat to 300°F.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Cool for 20 minutes on a wire rack and then remove from pan and cool completely.
