2 cups all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 cups oats
1 t. vanilla
1 package (12 ounce) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside.
Blend together butter and both sugars. Add the eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until incorporated. Add the oats and vanilla then add the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
