1 T. vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
3 T. chili powder
1 T. paprika
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
3 T. flour
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 or 2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups water
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
rice

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in oil until soft. Add beef and cook, breaking into small pieces. Add all the spices and flour and stir well. Pour in tomatoes and kidney beans, stir. Add water and simmer uncovered for at least one hour. Serve over rice and sprinkle with cheese.
