1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sour milk*
1 t. baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first four ingredients together. Add butter and cut into the dry ingredients. Set asise 1/2 of this mixture. To the other half add the egg, sour milk* and baking soda. Pout into a greased and floured 9" square baking dish. Sprinkle the dry ingredients were set aside on the top and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until firm.

*To make sour milk simply add 1 t. white vinegar to the milk and let sit for five minutes.
