3 cups dried beans (I use yellow eyes)
¼ lb. salt port or 4 Tbs. butter
6 Tbs. brown sugar
6 tsp. molasses
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Clean beans and soak over night. Drain. Place in bean pot. Add ingredients and water to cover.

Bake 300 degrees approx. 8 hours. Do not overload bean pot. Add water as needed (every 2 hours) to avoid burning.

Last hour, remove cover to cook down liquid
