1 package yellow cake mix
1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can (21 ounce) cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut in slices

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray or grease a 9x13 pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan, spread evenly. Dump in pie filling and spread into an even layer. Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer, spread evenly. Sprinkle pecans (or walnuts) over cake mix, put butter on top. Bake 350º for 50 minutes or until done. Serve warm or cold.
