3 C sugar
2 sticks butter, soften
6 eggs (separated)
3 C flour, sifted
1/4 t baking soda
1 C sour cream
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks (one at a time). Beat well after each. Sift flour and baking soda- add alternately with sour cream. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in greased and floured pan for 1 hour 30 minutes at 300* Remove from pan at once.
