1 lb butter
1 cup crisco
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
approximately 7 cup flour
walnuts

Syrup: 3 cups water, 4 cups sugar, 1 lb honey

This is honestly how the directions read: Add enough flour to make dough. Pinch off a small piece and make into a small ball. Bake and Cool,
I am guessing that they bake at 350 degrees until they are golden brown.
Boil the syrup and put in cooled baked cookie balls a few at a time for a few seconds and then roll in ground nuts.
