Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake mix
3 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
5 c. milk
1 12 oz. Cool Whip (or heavy whipping cream whipped with Whipit by Oetker to stiffen)
1 batch almond roca (see recipe in Cookies & Candies section)

Directions:
Directions:
Make cake in a 9 x 13 pan according to package directions. Cool cake and cut into 1 - 1 1/2 inch squares. Beat together the pudding with the milk.

To assemble:
1st layer: Place some cake cubes on the bottom of a trifle dish, leaving spaces between the cake cubes to add dollops of pudding (like a checkerboard pattern).

2nd layer: Add dollops of whip cream where the cake and pudding intersect. Do not cover all the the first layer. Sprinkle with a portion of the almond roca pieces.

3rd layer: Place a second layer of cake cubes on top of the whip cream dollops of the second layer. Place pudding dollops on top of the cake cubes of the first layer. Basically, you don't want cake on top of cake or pudding on top of pudding.

4th layer: Same as 2nd. Depending on the size of your trifle dish, you can repeat the layers ending with dollops of whip cream and a final layer of sprinkled almond roca.
