4 beef short ribs or 1 lb beef stew
2 cans beef broth
2 carrots diced
2 stalks celery diced
1 onion chopped
1 potato diced
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 t black pepper
1/4 t seasoned salt
1/3 t garlic salt
1&1/2 t beau monde (or celery salt)
salt to taste.

Directions:
Saute' cubed meat and onion in a small amount of oil. Add beef broth and a little water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender. Puree canned tomatoes. Add all remaining ingredients to pot and bring back to a boil then reduce to simmer and cook 1 to 1&1/2 hours. Add water as needed and correct seasonings.
