2 carrots diced
2 stalks celery cut in 1 in. pieces
5 medium potatoes diced
1/4 head of cabbage diced
1 medium onion diced
2 beef ribs
1 lb stew beef diced
1 can beef broth & 1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 t seasoned salt
1/2 t garlic salt
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 t beau monde (or celery salt)
3 cloves garlic minced
1 T oyster sauce
1 t soy sauce
1 t kitchen bouquet
1 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Fill soup pot 1/2 full of water. Add beef ribs, onions, minced garlic and a little salt & pepper. Bring to a boil and cook until meat is tender. Meanwhile in a skillet, saute' stew beef in a little oil until browned and then add oyster sauce & simmer for a few minutes. Add stew beef to soup pot & add beef bouillon, beef broth & seasonings. Add a little more water if needed. Steam vegetables in skillet with liquid left from browning stew beef and soy sauce. Add vegetables to soup and bring to a boil and simmer until done. Thicken with 1 T flour and add kitchen bouquet to color.
