Pumpkin Bars Recipe

3/4 cup Crisco oil
1-2/3 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups canned pumpkin
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional

In mixing bowl, beat sugar and oil until flaky. Add all the next ingredients except the walnuts and mix well. Add walnuts and stir. Spoon into a 10x18-inch baking pan. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar on top of bars and bake ten minutes longer. Cool and cut into bars.
