4-5 lb. roast
1 1/2 cups barbeque sauce
1/2 lb. Uncle Bens wild rice
1 can beef consommé'
1 bell pepper
1 onion
4-5 carrots
5 potatoes
3 pieces of celery
4 slices of bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Spread dry rice on bottom of baking pan. Place roast on rice. Cut bell pepper and onion in rings, carrots in 2 in. lengths, potatoes in chunks, and celery in 2 in. lengths. Place all around the roast. Sprinkle salt and pepper over meat and vegetables. Pour consommé' on top of everything and then the barbeque sauce. Cover airtight with foil. Bake at 300º for 2 1/2 hours or until tender.

Waylon created this recipe. He often used deer roast. Using bacon strips on top of roast cuts the wild taste. I have used all kinds of meat for this recipe.
