1-2/3 cup buttermilk
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. Mexican vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients until well blended.

Put 2/3 cup flour, 1/3 cup corn meal (Quaker Yellow), and 1 heaping tsp. soda into sieve. Add this to the other ingredients. Blend gently.

Cook in an electric fry pan at 350 º.
