1 stewing chicken
potatoes
onions
seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Stew chicken in seasoned water until meat easily comes off bones. Remove meat from bone and cut into bite size pieces. Slice potatoes into thin slices. In a large greased baking pan or roaster pan, layer potato slices, onion and chicken. Season between each layer. Thicken chicken broth with flour as you would to make gravy. Pour over the dish. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to an hour or so.

This recipe goes back to the time of the Great Depression of the 1930's. When times were hard and families had to make the best out of what they had. This one stood the test of time, try it!
