1 C Swiss cheese shredded, 12 slices bacon ( fried and crumbled ), 1/3 c minced onion 2 C cream ( whipping or light ), 1/8 tsp red pepper, 3/4 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp sugar, and 4 eggs.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Line deep dish pie plate with prepared pastry. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie plate. Slightly beat eggs; beat in remaining ingredients. Then pour this cream mixture into pie plate. Bake for 15 minutes. Bake for an additional 30 minutes longer at 300º or until knife comes clean inserted 1 inch from edge. Before cutting let stand 10 minutes. Serve in wedges
