4 Tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup Crisco
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, and milk and cook until mixture is the consistency of whipping cream, stirring constantly to keep from developing lumps. Cool. Cream butter, Crisco and sugar; add flour and milk mixture slowly, beating several minutes until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and spread.
