1 Onion, chopped
1/2 C. Butter
16 oz. package frozen chopped Broccoli
4-14.5 oz. cans Chicken Broth
1 lb. Velveeta© processed cheese, cubed
2 C. Milk
1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
2/3 C. Cornstarch
1 C. Water

Directions:
Directions:
In a stockpot, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion in butter until softened. Stir in broccoli and chicken broth. Simmer until broccoli is tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Reduce heat, stir in cheese cubes until melted. Add milk and garlic powder, stir until combined.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into soup, continue to simmer and stir until thickened.
