2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1 1/2 cup canned applesauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Penuche frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Measure all ingredients into a large mixer bowl. Blend one minute at low speed scraping the bowl often. beat three minutes on high speed scraping occasionally. bake in 9" x 13" pan at 350º for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool and frost with Penuche frosting or serve warm with caramel sauce for desert.
