5 large apples
1 C. sugar
1 heaping Tbsp. flour
Topping:
3/4 C. quick oatmeal
3/4 C. flour
3/4 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. butter, chilled
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and slice apples.
Combine the sugar and flour, add apples and toss lightly together.
Place in a greased 9 inch square pan.
Mix the topping ingredients together until crumbly and sprinkle over the top of the apples. Bake at 350º until apples are done and top is golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
