1 - 15 oz. package raisins (2 c.)
3 1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 pt. whiskey (2 c.)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine raisins and water, and bring to a boil
Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes
Add sugar and stir until dissolved
Remove from heat; stir in whiskey
Fill 4 clean, hot pint or 8 half-pint mason jars with raisin-whiskey mixture; seal
Let stand at least one month

Serve in tiny cordial glasses with pick. Garnish each with a lemon slice, if desired.
