Poppy Seed Bread:
3 C flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 C milk
1/2 C butter, room temp
1/2 C oil
2 1/4 C sugar
1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 tsp butter flavoring

Almond Glaze:
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 C orange juice
3/4 C sugar

Combine all bread ingredients and beat with a mixer 2 minutes. Pour into 2 large or 5 small greased loaf pans. Bake large loaves at 350 for 1 hour and smaller loaves for approximately 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans. Spoon glaze generously over sides and tops. Cool completely. Wrap and freeze. Mix glaze ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
