5 or 6 cooking apples
Peel apples and slice thin
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Double Pie Crust

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, cinnamon, flour and lemon juice over sliced apples and let set while making pie crust.
Place apples in bottom crust, place pats of butter on top of apples. Seal top crust. Sprinkle top with white sugar and a little bit of white Karo syrup. Bake at 425º for 10 minutes, lower heat to 350º and bake until done.

Mrs. Brown made this pie for us a couple of times. This was a dessert Brad liked. She was a wonderful cook.
