1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/4 cups, 12 oz, pork and beans
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
3 slices bacon
1 medium onion, sliced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup catsup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Cook bacon in skillet. Remove bacon and brown ground beef and onions in bacon fat. Drain off excess fat. Transfer ground beef and onions to pot using slotted spoon. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Simmer on low heat covered for 20-30 minutes until flavors are well blended.
