Pockets of Lemon Cake Recipe

1 white cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup oil
4 eggs

1 can lemon pie filling

1 lemon or vanilla frosting can
1 container whipped topping

Heat oven to 350.

Grease and four 13 x 9 pan.

Prepare cake mix as directed on package, using water, oil and eggs. Spread batter in greased pan. Drop pie filling by heaping teaspoonfuls evenly onto batter.

Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Cool cake in pan for 45 minutes.

In medium bowl, combine frosting and whipped topping. Spread over cooled cake.
