5 1/4 or 5 1/2 C all-purpose flour
2 pkg active dry yeast
1 C milk
1 C sugar
1/2 C butter
14 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/2 C mashed cooked potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 12 C flour and yeast. Heat milk, sugar, butter and salt till warm (115 - 120); add to dry mixture. Add eggs and potatoes. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 12 minute; beat 3 minutes at high speed. by hand, sitr in enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough. Knead on lightly floured surface 8 - 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease surface. Cover; let rise for 1.5 hours. Punch down; divide dough in half. Cover; let rest 10 minutes. Shape half of the dough into eight balls. Place around edge of a greased 9-inch round pan to form a ring. Repeat with remaing dough; place in another breased 9-inch round pan. Let rise 45 to 60 minutes. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from pans; cool. Makes 2
