White Chili Recipe

1/2 Chopped green chilies (canned)
2/3 C chopped red onion
2/3 C chopped green peper
2/3 C shopped celery
1 C shopped Leek (white portion only)
3 C garlic minced
2 Tbs dried oregano
4 C canned chicken brothe
2-1/4 frozen corn (thawed
2 C cubbed turkey breast (not cooked)
2 TBS ground corrander seeds
2-1/2 Tbs chili powder
1 TBs ground cumin
1/2 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp.black pepper
1/2 C flour
1/2 C cold water
3-15 oz red kidney beans (drained)

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, combine 1st 8 ingredients. Simmer 45 min. or 'til
veggies are tender. Puree 1/1/4 C of the corn,
pour into bowl, add remaining corn, turkey, corrander, chili
powder, cumin, sugar, salt & pepper. Set aside. Bring chicken
broth to boil. In a jar combine flour and water. Gradually add to
broth, stir constantly 'til it begins to thicken; add corn, turkey
and seasonings and beans. Simmer 15-20 Minutes
Now--what I really do is buy a package of white chili mix at the
store, add white beans, corn,canned chicken or pkg of turkey
pieces and canned broth.
