Ingredients:
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 heaping cup whole pecans
9" unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Layer pecans over all.

Bake in preheated 350º oven for approximately 45 minutes. Watch closely toward the end as it can burn quickly. I usually cover the edges of the pie with foil for the first half of the baking time, to prevent burning.

Cool completely before serving with whipped cream or ice cream.
