Ingredients:
4-1/2 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
4 sticks butter
18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the sugar and evaporated milk to a boil in a large kettle over medium heat. Boil for exactly 12 minutes once it reaches a boil, stirring constantly since it burns easily.

After exactly 12 minutes of boiling, remove from heat and add the butter, chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Beat the mixture well with an electric beater. Pour into buttered 9"x13" pan, or several smaller buttered pans.

Cool completely before eating. Keep this fudge in the fridge or it will become too soft. It freezes nicely. Just bring to room temperature before serving.

Personal Notes:
This IS the best fudge I've ever tasted and it is so easy to make. It's basically fool proof if you set the timer during boiling.
