1/4 c olive oil
1 sm chopped onion
1 green bell pepper
1 tsp vinegar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 c sherry cooking wine (optional)
1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes or tomato sauce
salt/pepper to season
1 packet Sazon Spanish seasoning packet (found in Spanish food section of most grocery stores)
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup green olives (optional)
1lb. lean ground beef

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat the oil over low heat, then add the onion, bell pepper, garlic and Sazon seasoning packet. Cook until tender. Add the beef and stir until brown. Drain off any excess fat. Add the sherry, vinegar, tomatoes, salt/pepper,raisins and olives. Cover to let simmer. We serve this over white rice. It's also good with fried potatoes.
