½ C. butter
2 egg yolks, whites reserved
1 ¼ C. flour
½ C. sugars +1/3 Cup
1 C. apricot preserves
1 C. walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, egg yolks, ½ C. sugar and flour and spread in well greased 7x11 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

Top with 1 C. Apricot preserves. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add 1/3 C. sugar and beat until stiff. Add 1 C. chopped walnuts. Spread over apricot layer.

Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let cool over night before cutting.
