1 1/2 dozen vanilla wafers - rolled and crushed
1/3 stick melted butter

Mix wafers and butter and pack firmly into pie pan. Preheat oven to 400º and bake until it bubbles, about 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

For Lime Chiffon Pie, add 12 whole wafers around the sides.
