1/2 c. Onion (sliced)
2 T. Olive Oil
1 lb. Ground Beef
2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
2 1-lb. cans (4 c.) Tomato Puree
2 8 ounce cans (2 c.) Seasoned Tomato Sauce
1 can Broiled Sliced Mushrooms
1/4 c. Parsley (chopped)
1 1/2 t. Oregano
1 t. Salt
1/4 t. Thyme
1 Bay Leaf
1 c. Water

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil until almost tender. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 2-2 1/2 hours or until sauce is nice and thick; stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
