1/2 c brown sugar (packed)
pinch salt
2 T butter
1T rum or water
1 c toasted chopped pecans

1 egg

Directions:

in a saucepan, stir together butter and sugar, salt and rum then cook for 2 minutes, add beaten egg & remove from heat.

Cool before adding this filling to the cake
