1 lb. bulk pork sausage 5 slices bread
4 eggs slightly beaten soft butter
2 c. milk 1/2 tsp.salt
1/4 c. chopped green chilies 1/2 t dry mustard
3 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage until well browned, drain off fat.
Remove crusts from bread, butter one side of each, and cut into cubes.
Place 1/2 bread cubes in bottom of buttered 8 inch square baking dish, sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese, cover with sausage, add rest of bread cubes and top with remaining cheese.
Combine eggs, milk and seasoning and pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Before baking sprinkle with chilies. Bake uncovered at 350º for one hour or until golden brown. and set.º

This can be frozen after baking and cooling. Wrap tightly. Defrost before rewarming at 325 for about 20 minutes.
