1 lb andouille or smoked sausage
3 cups yellow onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
3 tsp dried oregano
1 TBS paprika
1 14 oz can chicken broth
8 chicken pieces
2 green peppers, chopped
2 tsp dried thyme
1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
1 cup dry white wine
1 lb uncooked medium shrimp, deveined

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté' sausage in heavy skillet over medium heat until brown, about 5 minutes. Transfer to large bowl. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken parts. Transfer chicken to bowl with sausage. Pour off all drippings except 1 tablespoon. Add onions and red and green bell peppers to skillet; sauté' until brown, about 15 minutes. Add garlic, oregano, thyme and paprika; sauté' for 2 minutes. Put chicken, sausage and vegetable mixture in large pot. Add diced tomatoes with juice, chicken broth and wine. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until chicken is cook through, about 30 minutes. Uncover pot and simmer until chicken is very tender and liquid is reduced to thin sauce consistency, about 40 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer just until cooked through, about 5 minutes longer. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
