4 Cans Baked Beans (28 oz. — Bushes Best)
4 Cans Beans (15 oz.— Kidney, Black, Pinto, Garbanzo...)
1 lb. Bacon (chopped, crisp cooked and drained)
2-3 Onions (chopped – 2 cups)
2 Red or Green Peppers (cored, diced)
2 c. Barbecue sauce (your choice)
2 tsp. Liquid smoke
1 c. Dark Molasses
3 c. Brown sugar
2 tbsp. Chili powder
1 tsp. Garlic (minced)

Directions:
Directions:
Chop, brown bacon till lightly crisp

In large dutch oven or roaster, combine all the beans, bacon,
onion, green pepper, barbecue sauce, liquid smoke,
molasses, brown sugar, chili powder, and garlic

Place in a 350º oven – center shelf – and bake for 3 hours

If beans become too dry while baking, add a little water or
beer to the top of them.
