6 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Layer half of sweet potatoes in a greased baking dish. Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle on half of sugar mixture. Layer the rest of potatoes, sprinkle rest of sugar mixture. Dot with margarine or butter. Mix water and milk. Pour liquid mixture over potatoes. Cover and bake at 350º for 30 to 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
