1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, using a mixer beat, together the oil, butter, powdered sugar and the sugar until mixture is creamy. Add the egg and vanilla then gradually add the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
Drop large tablespoon of mixture onto greased and floured cookie sheet. Flatten and sprinkle with sugar and bake 10-12 minutes.º
