6 egg whites, beaten stiff
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. soda crackers, broken in 1 inch pieces.
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
15.5 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Slowly add sugar and cream of tartar. Continue to beat. Add vanilla. Fold in soda crackers and nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Cool. Spoon cherry pie filling across top and refrigerate for 6 hours before serving.
