1 stick butter
1 cup green onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/8 cup green pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 Tbsp garlic puree
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup dry white wine
3 pounds raw shrimp, peeled, rinsed and drained
Hot cooked rice

In a large covered skillet, melt butter slowly. Add vegetable, garlic puree, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend thoroughly. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve cornstarch in wine. Blend into vegetables. Add shrimp, cover and simmer 5-10 minutes or until shrimp are done. Serve immediately over rice.
